Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd!

Hubby and I had a night out without the kiddos last night!! It was wonderful! We went a saw the stage production of Sweeney Todd. One of my favorite shows of all time and the first stage production of anything, save rock concerts, for hubby. So, we left for Denver early and stopped by to see the hubby's sis and visit for a few then, off to the thrift stores to see if there were any treasures to be found. We bought a few things, nothing really exciting and made our way to downtown Denver! Now, I know I grew up driving in a big city but this little girl has been in the country for sometime now and is not used to all that traffic!!! We parked in the parking garage for the Denver Preforming Arts Center and went to walk around a bit. Found a cute little coffee house for a drink and a bite to eat. Backstage Coffee also sells micro-brews, sandwiches, soups, and salads! We also went back after the show, I had a mocha and hubby had a Red Stripe. We people watched from the patio and missed a lot of the post show traffic. The show and cast were wonderful and never before have we had such wonderful seats!!!! When I bought the tickets I knew that section "C" was the place to be but was not sure about our row. When our tickets were checked a the door the man said "You will be happy tonight!" I said "are they that good?" He said "YES!" I had to ask two usher before I realized I had lucked out and bought Pit seating! Second row in the pit to be exact!!!! I loved it!!!! Who cares if we didn't get home till one and now I am up to go do hair and pick up the kiddos, the evening was worth it all!!!! Did I mention we have to the Springs today for a Dr. appointment for James! Love and Peace!
