Baseball Is Over
Yesterday was the T-Ball tournament and now my baseball season is done. James was in Cal-Ripken and his team got third in their tournament and Newt was T-Ball, his team got first. So, no more running to practice or trying to be at practice for one and a game for another. My summer will now slow down a bit. Bill has been wanting to get away for a weekend in the mountains and now that can happen. I want the boys to take swimming lessons and they are the third week in July but, we can handle a week of going to the pool early. So, hopefully now we will be off to the mountains in the next week or maybe the last week in July. James has requested we be home for his birthday this year. The past few years we have been gone to Tin Cup on his birthday and celebrated up there cake and all. Try getting a cake and presents to the mountains along with a week of food, water, and everything else you might need. It's not easy to not mash a cake, I never did, and get presents up too, some unknown to the birthday boy. So, home on August 7th for sure this year. We will be doing the birthday at home this year with a party and all, I can see how he has missed that the last few years. I would like to go camping this year. We have a tent and of course my Bronco can get us to a good spot, not just off the road. I will keep you posted on where we might end up, in a tent of course, and in the mountains of Colorado, we can only afford to go so far with gas as high as it is. Love and Peace.
