Grade Equivalent Scores

The Genoa-Hugo school loves to test the kids, see where they are in their class and how they measure up for the big test that will decide school funding. Well, they do this grade equivalent score and James never ceases to amaze me. I know he is smart, I mean really smart, not just bragging but, oh my!!!!! I have gotten two test scores back in the past week. One from math and one from science. WOW!!!!! Science is at a G.E. of 8.9, that is the end of eighth grade, and math is off the charts! Math is 11.9!!!!!! That is to say on this test he did the equivalent of a person at the end of their Junior year. He is in sixth grade. Now, people say, they can't believe I let him have a mo-hawk and dress in camo, that he has his ears pierced and all that, well, why not! I mean I couldn't ask for better grades, he is really a good kid, and it doesn't matter what he look likes. Most of the kids at school think he is pretty cool, I think he looks like a little punk rocker from the eighties and even down loaded some Clash for him to listen to. GO JAMES!!!!!! Love and Peace.
