Prom Night 2017
Well, tonight is prom at Genoa-Hugo School. Newt is a sophomore, he wasn't going to go, was pretty set on not going. He is still being true to Aurora, who is still in Oklahoma. So, he didn't have a date, but his class is pretty tight, so he wanted to go watch the grand march, and see everyone. So, he made cookies, the requirement for sophomores for the after prom party, and go got somewhat snazzed up, and headed out with his chess board and drawing pad in tow. He doesn't go anywhere without his bag of nerdness. I love my Nerd!!! So I am planning on staying up fairly late, I know one of his friends will give him a ride home, but I still worry till he's home, he is my baby. I was an EMT long enough to know bad things can happen when a bunch of teenagers get rowdy and think they are invincible.I did some Mom pampering for me this evening. I got some Perfectly Posh products today in the mail, I was looking forward to trying out my Crackle Spackle Mask, and I needed to color my hair, so I did that. I also shaved my legs while in the shower and waxed my face fuzzies. So, I am feeling pretty good. While I waited for my color to process I cleaned and reorganized the bathroom shelves. GO ME!!! Now I am relaxing in Dad's chair, it will always be Dad's chair, and going watch some TV. Good night and sweet dreams all.
